the Garden

In the expansive garden of our  Villa Orchid Bali  there are numerous ferns, palms, flowers and blossoms as well as many waterways, tropical fish pools and fountains.

Bali's climate is very conducive for realizing one's own ideas about creating parks and gardens.
In our garden a small artificial waterfall cascades down a sun-lit hill. In the shade of huge ferns it winds its flowery, stony way down to a lovely goldfish pool.

Lotus and water lilies the important flowers for Balinese offerings, with their great symbolism for the Hindu religion grow with a variety of other beautiful water plants, which we often share with friends. The rapid growth of this tropical flora is always wonderfully surprising.

Even in Bali we have seasons. From April until October the dry monsoon winds reach the island from Australia (our dry season). From November until March winds from the northwest bring lots of rain clouds and short but intense showers. But don't worry, you will still see lots of sunshine even in a typical rainy day. Temperatures do not change very much between the dry and wet seasons.
At  Villa Orchid Bali  temperatures range from 23/25°C in the night to 28/30°C during the day.
