our Villa Orchid Bali

Surrounded by coconut palms, rice terraces and tropical trees, our  Villa Orchid Bali  is situated between the two villages Kelabang-Moding and Abangan. A beautiful oasis of silence.

Although we are about 5km from Ubud, originally formed as a small community of painters and artists and still the cultural center of Bali, you will not find any hectic tourism at  Villa Orchid Bali. Around our villa the island's traditional farmer's life is still alive.
Today Ubud itself is dominated by many varied art galleries, shops and restaurants. But friends of exotic cultures can find numerous opportunities to watch the traditional and famous Balinese dances such as Baris, Jauk, Legong or Calon Arang, or may take part in one of the several temple ceremonies that occur throughout the year.

A walk from our house along on romantic paths, accompanied by a bubbling river, where much of life's daily activities occur will take you past rice terraces that appear to be formed by an artist's hand. This will open your heart once more to the beauty of Bali. Such a stroll with attentiveness, also for the small things is good for your mind, spirit, soul and your heart, ... it is just like meditation.

a wonderful place where your soul wants to spend its holiday.

And sometimes you may encounter new relations and inspirations for your own life, while watching a rice farmer on his sawah or some Balinese children playing joyfully in the river.

Next to the main villa, which is surrounded by exotic plants and tropical blossoming trees, are two luxurious bungalows for our friends.
